The Administrative branch of the Cree Nation of Mistissini consists of six employees that oversee and support the general operations of the Cree Nation of Mistissini including capital projects manager and legal support for the Cree Nation of Mistissini. It also includes within it a base of staff that oversee, human resources, finance and information technology for the administrative building.

The treasurer oversees the financial management, auditing and finance department of the Administration.
The Office of the Director General, has the responsibility of overseeing the general operations of the Cree Nation of Mistissini, while also serving as a liaison to entities, regional government and organizations that wish to work with the Cree Nation of Mistissini. This requires close collaboration with all Departmental Directors while also working closely with the Treasurer to ensure the long term strategic planning of the administration can meet changing needs of our membership, community and region. At the core of this planning are a number of responsibilities of the Office of the Director General, which include:
Our office maintains an open door policy to the membership of the Cree Nation of Mistissini and will work to our fullest capacity to serve the Cree Nation of Mistissini.
The Human Resources Department of the Cree Nation of Mistissini is responsible to oversee human resource structure, management and needs for the Cree Nation of Mistissini and its Employees. The Department also supervises the IT and Archiving -Records teams for the Cree Nation of Mistissini.
Our Department develops all Human Resource Policy and conducts regular reviews of policy, procedure and overall structure.
The Human Resource Department is also responsible to handle all employee service awards, retirements, sabbaticals, and to oversee training in collaboration with the various Departments
