We thank all of the community members for their commitment to respecting public health measures, and the curfew that is in place. Because of these sacrifices our community is now in Stage 4 of Deconfinement
Stage 4 of Deconfinement
The risk to our region is low. There are no active cases in our region and very few affecting Cree people outside our region.
What to expect:
- Indoors, 50 people and outdoors 150 people can gather, taking precautions like wearing a mask, physical distancing, washing their hands frequently, etc.
- Full health services, but they may be delivered in a modified way to reduce contact.
- No restrictions on travel, but MSIL applies to areas of risk in other regions.
- Businesses open with limited capacity
Curfew is no longer in effect
Our community will no longer be enforcing a curfew as of April 12, 2021. However, we encourage all of you to practice public safety measures, and to avoid visiting if you are experience any of the symptoms of COVID-19. It is importance to remember that our success comes from our commitment to health measures, and that vigilance is vital.
